It Ain’t Over till God says It’s Over

Greg, John, Pat, and Chris discuss how “it ain’t over till God says it’s over.”  Sometimes God will allow it to get to the point where it seems like it’s absolutely over and then God shows up and makes a way.  If you look back in your history there were many times you thought it was going to be over and it wasn’t.  The Bible is filled with people who thought it was absolutely over for them and God showed up. This is particularly true in the lives of Adam and Eve when they sinned before God.  God could have struck them dead but instead made a way for them.  They encourage us to remember that no matter what we are facing today to never give up hope in God and to remember it’s only over when God says it’s over.

Dead Faith vs. Living Faith: Which one do you have?

John, Greg, and Pat discuss the difference between Dead Faith and Living Faith.  In Mark 1:1-5 speaks about an account where a man who was lying on mat who was lowered through the roof of a house where Jesus was ministering.  The Bible says that when Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic Son, your sins are forgiven.  Jesus saw their faith.  They had living faith; Faith that was combined with action and deed.  James 2:17 says, faith by itself, if not accompanied by action, is dead.  Many believers today are not seeing the breakthrough in their lives because they have dead faith.  What we do proves what we believe, if we say we have faith but there are no actions or deeds working together with our faith than nothing will come to pass. Faith and deeds working together is faith that cannot be denied.

Take TIME to Rest before you Crash

Greg, John, and Pat share about the importance of taking time to rest.  Sometimes we can be so busy even doing a good thing but still doesn’t mean we forego resting.  Isaiah 28:12-13 says “This is the resting place, let the weary rest”; and, “this is the place of repose” but they would not listen.  So then, the word of the Lord to them will become do and do, do and do, rule on rule, rule on rule; a little here and a little there so that they will go and fall backward be injured and snared and captured.  This is exactly what happened to the revivalist Evan Roberts; he became so tired that he was lulled away and never heard from again.  Taking a sabbatical always seems like it’s the worst time but that is more proof of the need to rest, recharge and be refreshed by the Lord.
