Jews are Coming Home to Israel from France- No longer feel Safe to Remain in France?
Right now, as you are reading this, many Jews are arriving at Ben Gurion Airport in Israel, and moving to Israel. In what is known as “Aliyah”, the world is witnessing Biblical Prophecy being carried out before their very eyes. Isaiah 11:12 states “He will raise a banner for the nations and gather the exiles of Israel; he will assemble the scattered people of Judah from the four quarters of the earth.”This is a testament to the signs and times that we are living in today.
By the dozens, French Jews are making their way to their homeland, Israel. According to CBN, “Last year, 2014, there were 7,200. There’s a mass immigration to Israel from France.” With the recent terrorist attacks in France and the growing threats of safety, many Jews cannot live out their lives as they desire. Upon arrival in Israel, one woman describes their reality this way, “….there isn’t a person in France – Jews in France – that isn’t talking about coming to live in Israel to some extent.” These are exciting days to see what is taking place across the Earth as many are arriving in the celebratory atmosphere of Ben Gurion Airport. See the very faces of those who are arriving and more of this powerful story, and so much more. Also shared in this segment: France, Kosher, New York City, San Paulo Brazil, Chicago, and prayer. Are You Jonah? Are You waiting for the Answer; Maybe You are the Answer?
In today’s reality, there are no shortfall events to be concerned about: a slowing Global Economy, rising terrorism, Iranian Nuclear Deal, and porous borders in America. In these trying times, what is the Church to do? Often times, one can reason that we are waiting on God. Is this the case, or is God waiting on us? We begin to get an answer as we look at one particular life in the Bible: Jonah. The book of Jonah describes one season of his life and how God called him to witness to the people of the city of Nineveh.
Instead of being concerned about the eternal reality of the Ninevites, Jonah focused on how he viewed them, not how God had viewed them, and not on the reality that God had called him to go to them. Finding himself on a boat, in the middle of the sea, Jonah finds himself in the middle of a storm. Jonah 1:12 shares how he responded, in the storm, “Pick me up and throw me into the sea,” he replied, “and it will become calm. I know that it is my fault that this great storm has come upon you.” Could the shaking that we are experiencing be because the Church has not responded to the people around us that God has called us to?
